The company

This agency in Maidstone is one of Kent’s largest full-service marketing agencies. They’ve won countless awards and their client base is global. They’re now looking for a Social Media Executive to work with their awesome team of digital experts, sitting within their growing social media team.

The role

This role is maternity cover but there will be an opportunity for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

As a Social Media Executive, you’d be tasked with the following:

  • Support the Head of Social Media in the day to day development of client social media strategies
  • Identify and create suitable content for the publication on the client’s social platforms, ensuring compliance with any relevant content plans and branding guidelines and messaging
  • Create business and individual pages on relevant social media channels
  • Monitor client and Fabrick social media channels to react to prominent engagements and followers
  • Create social posts ensuring they’re accurate, on brand and delivered within schedule and budget
  • Make recommendations in monthly meetings to clients on how best to continue their social media offering
  • Ensure monthly targets are met against client business goals
  • Analysis and report generation
  • Understanding of social management tool, Sprout Social
  • Generation of ideas to support the delivery of client content and marketing plans
  • Maintain a good knowledge of the industry and clients’ businesses and being vigilant to any major events/updates
  • Support the production of digital and integrated proposals
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends
  • Liaising with account managers to ensure deadlines/themes are being met

  • Good working level of Microsoft office
  • Basic knowledge of social publishing and reporting tools (hubspot, Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, Sprout Social)
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics and Paid Social

The benefits

Salary for this role is £20,000 - £25,000 based on experience. You'd be joining a friendly team of digital and social media experts, who will support your training and development and help you achieve everything you can.
