You’d be joining a wider marketing team of around 100 people. You’d sit within the digital team, which is roughly 25 people, and you’d be leading the email team with three direct reports.
The marketing team is huge and they work in a similar way to an agency, with different teams responsible for various aspects of marketing.
Your role as Digital Marketing Manager would be to roll-out and develop the Salesforce Marketing Cloud road-map. The team has only recently been introduced to Salesforce, so you’d be there to help guide your colleagues, encouraging them to innovate and try new things.
Key to the job will be collaborating with other people within the business to create customer journeys focusing on acquisition, retention and loyalty. You’ll be adding a dynamic and personalised approach, creating a flawless strategy across multiple channels (email, SMS and social media).
For this role, you should have a good understanding of omni-channel marketing. You’ll need excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills. As you’ll have three people reporting into you, you should be a good communicator and a caring manager.
In terms of technical experience, you’ll need to be familiar with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Journey Builder. You’ll also need experience in database campaign segmentation and data/analytics experience.
Salary for this role is up to £45,000 based on experience. Pay levels are well-considered here and you’ll have annual pay reviews, plus a discretionary bonus every year.
